This diploma programme trains students to have professional skills in methods of psychology including understanding the principles of human behaviours, minds, emotions and potentials in communities. They will be eligible for work in rehabilitation centres, welfare communities, government organisations, NGO’s and private sector companies.
Educational psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of human learning. The study of learning processes, from both cognitive and behavioral perspectives, allows researchers to understand individual differences in intelligence, cognitive development, affect, motivation, self-regulation, and self-concept, as well as their role in learning. Graduates will be able to help children or young people who are experiencing problems that hinder their successful learning and participation in school and other activities.
