Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. Students will able to construct and evaluate alternative design concepts, undertake detailed engineering analysis and mechanical design as well as manufacture prototypes and evaluate its performance.
