Students who do double degree in Marketing and Advertising will have strong organisational skills and be able to effectively apply the business principles, processes involved in an advertising campaign and creative elements in advertising. In this program, students will be exposed to various roles that are related to the real industry such as in fundraising, market research, product management, marketing communications and brand strategy, and online marketing in areas such as developing online strategy, search engine optimisation, and social media and networking. Accredited by the International Advertising Association, graduates are eligible for the Australian Marketing Institute membership application.
This program focuses on the understanding of branding, positioning, advertising strategy, media application and product solution. It also covers the purpose and functions of advertising to an advertiser, advertising agency and media owners.
